Key Manager
The Key Manager is a tool available to Maintenance Connection administrators to manage keys in their organization. The tool is not affiliated with a particular module of the system, but is connected to the Asset List to select rooms or equipment which the keys open, and labor resources, to designate the individuals to whom the keys have been assigned.
Access the Key Manager:

Select Tools > Asset > Key Tracking from the Main Menu.
The Key Manager opens, listing keys currently managed through the tool.
The Key Manager includes four tabs that can be described as follows:

The Keys tab lists the keys currently managed through the tool and identifies the number of keys issued and assigned. This tab also includes the option to add new keys or edit existing keys or assignment information.

The Key Holders tab lists all individuals currently issued keys. Individual records can be opened to view the keys issued to each individual.

The Key Transactions tab lists all transactions with the keys, sorted by Key ID. Transactions recorded here include keys issued, added, or removed.

The Report tab displays a report listing all keys issued. For each key listed, all key holders are listed identifying issue date, quantity issued, date returned, and current status.
